City of Wolfforth Librarian Honored for Work with Children, Outreach

A City of Wolfforth librarian has been recognized at the statewide level for service to children, earning the Siddie Joe Johnson Award.

Taylor Revilla has worked at the City of Wolfforth Library for 13 years, with a focus on children and expanding the outreach of the library to reach more potential patrons, especially children.

She was recently honored with the award, which is given to one librarian in Texas each year for their ability to go above and beyond with their library service.

“I was shaking. I couldn’t believe it,” Revilla said.

Revilla started at the library as a high school senior in 2013. She has worked to bring educational opportunities to area children through story times at local childcare centers and visits with elementary and middle schools.
