A minor accident in Abilene knocked over a power pole and damaged a fire hydrant in the city today.

The crash occurred at the intersection of South 20th Street and Highland Avenue.

Only minor injuries were reported in the accident.

AEP and City of Abilene crews are en route to the scene, and traffic is slightly affected by the crash.

There is no word as to how many have lost power and water service due to the crash.
