Artemis 2 Astronauts Travel Around Moon’s Backside, Enter Communications Blackout with Ground Control

After a journey of a few days to the Moon, the Artemis 2 crew and their Orion spacecraft, named Integrity, are behind the moon and currently in a communications blackout with flight controllers in Houston.

The loss of signal is expected to last just a few more minutes and was expected as the Moon blocks radio signals from reaching Earth.

Eden Man Restored to Competency, Will Stand Trial for Double Capital Murder of Concho County Deputies

An Eden, Texas, man has been restored to competency and will stand trial for double capital murder in San Angelo.

A court record filed in Concho County in late March states that the head or designee of the Vernon State Hospital in Vernon, Texas, has notified the court that Jeffery Nicholas, 33, was “restored to competency” after being committed for “competency restoration services.” Nicholas was to be returned to the court for further proceedings.
