British PM Starmer Makes Remarks at British Defense Industry Plant
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer delivered remarks today after visiting Stark Defence, a defense industry firm in Swindon.
The British PM thanked the firm’s leaders for a great tour, and noted that the firm was “first class”, and needed to be “first class” in that it was important to make sure that the British defense posture was world class.
He noted the need for Britain and the rest of the world to be prepared in a hostile and dangerous environment with threats from Russia, China, the war in Ukraine, and other international crises.
He also noted that the British people are paying more for gasoline and other energy products because of the war between the United States and Iran, and noted the continued hotspot in the Middle East between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Starmer also commented on the war in Ukraine, pledging continued support for the nation in its fight against Russian aggression and the need to get to a cease fire between the two.
