Fort Concho National Historic Landmark will Host Flag Day Program

Fort Concho National Historic Landmark will host a Flag Day program on Sunday, June 14, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Visitors attending the program will have the opportunity to learn how to properly dispose of an American Flag.

The program will take place at Fort Concho’s Living History Stables, located on Henry O Flipper Street.

“Join us as we properly retire these flags, and feel free to bring your own flags to be respectfully disposed of as well,” Fort Concho wrote in a Facebook post.

Visitors will learn about the U.S. Flag Code, the history of the Pledge of Allegiance and the national anthem, and how to properly dispose of the American flag.
