Fox News: Iran Cutting Hezbollah Support Key to Ending War Between U.S., Iran

A Fox News terrorism expert is warning that the Iranian terrorist proxy Hezbollah is largely connected to the Iranian government and is one of the regime’s “crown jewels” in their fight against Israel and the United States.

The group, though not mentioned by name, was included in the memorandum of understanding that ended the U.S. war with Iran. The memo called for Iran to cease military operations on all fronts, including support for Hezbollah forces operating in Lebanon and their fight against Israel.

Fox News Digital said that Hezbollah was included in the agreement because they are one of the largest and most powerful terrorism proxies of the Islamic Republic of Iran. They noted that Hezbollah is a forward-deployed paramilitary arm of the Iranian government.

The group has carried out kidnappings, hijackings and terrorist bombings against the United States, including a bombing in Beirut, Lebanon, against the U.S. Marines that killed 241 Marines in 1983.
