Minor Accident Leads to Citation

A minor collision on Sherwood Way and Alexander Street resulted in minor injuries and a citation for failure to yield the right of way.

An officer at the scene said that a Dodge pickup truck travelling eastbound on Sherwood Way failed to yield the right of way while turning left onto Alexander Street and collided with a white GMC Yukon traveling westbound.

The vehicles had one occupant each. The driver of the Yukon was treated at the scene for minor injuries, and the driver of the Dodge was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
