San Angelo Woman Arrested for Murder in Violent San Angelo Murder
San Angelo Police have arrested a female suspect in the homicide of a San Angelo man.
Audrey Troncoso, 31, was arrested and faces murder charges after she shot, stabbed and dismembered a San Angelo man, dumping his body parts in a San Angelo landfill.
She was arrested June 24.
Troncoso shot the deceased — identified as Roland Matthew Shepard, 34, of San Angelo, whom she had “a live-in relationship” with — “in the facial area and stabbed him numerous times, causing his death.”
Investigators later learned that, after the killing, Troncoso “attempted to conceal and dispose of the victim’s remains.”
At a press conference today, San Angelo Police Chief Travis Griffith said that the homicide was one of the most violent he has known in San Angelo.
