Texas Department of Transportation to Close Portion of Knickerbocker Road for Project

The Texas Department of Transportation said today that major portions of Knickerbocker Road in San Angelo will be closed for intersection improvement projects.

In an announcement issued on June 18, TxDOT stated that the three innermost lanes of the section of Knickerbocker Road spanning from Loop 306 to Johnson Street will be closed beginning on June 22.

The project is expected to be completed this fall.

TxDOT said that drivers should plan ahead for delays during peak hours.
