President Trump Scolds Israeli PM Netanyahu Following Israeli Strikes on Iran

Tensions between President Donald J. Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ran high again as the American president scolded his Israeli counterpart on its actions against Iran.

The warning came at a fragile moment following missile exchanges between Israel and Iran. It comes amid faltering efforts to preserve the ceasefire.

"I told Bibi, 'You better be very careful with what you do because you might soon be left alone against Iran,'" Trump was quoted as saying, according to Israel's Channel 12.

The remarks came after Iran and Israel said they had both stopped military attacks.

Iran International also reported that Israel had approved a "dramatic attack" against Iran before Trump called it off, also citing a report from Channel 12.
