Father of San Angelo Murder Suspect Arrested for Tampering with Evidence Following San Angelo Murder

The father of a San Angelo woman arrested for murder has himself been arrested after police learned that he helped her dismember and then hide the body.

Mario Valdes Troncoso Jr. had been arrested on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence “for his involvement in the concealment and disposal” of the dismembered remains of Roland Matthew Sheppard, a 34-year-old San Angelo man.

His bond currently sits at $100,000.

His daughter, Audrey Troncoso, 31, was arrested and faces murder charges. Her bond has been set at $2 million.

Audrey Troncoso reportedly called her faither and told her about the murder and said that she needed help.

Mario Trancoso helped her dismember the body and bury it in the dumpster at a local apartment, according to an affidavit.
